Frances Gerngross joins Julie Baker Fine Art as a senior consultant and partner. She began her career in advertising at The New York Times. In 1962, she joined her husband, Hans at Gerngross and Company. She became the senior account executive during the
exploding art world of the 1960s and 1970s. Her clients included such leading contmporary and traditional galleries as The Pace Gallery, Virginia Dwan, Hirschl and Alder, Richard York, Kennedy Galleries, the Art Dealers Association of America, museums such as MOMA, The Whitney Museum, CooperHewitt and the National Academy of Design. In addition,
Frances taught art gallery advertising and promotion at Pratt Institute. She brings to Julie Baker Fine Art her vast experience and extraordinary range of relationships with artists, dealers,curators and art journals.
