JBFA Moves to 307 Spring St., Nevada City
August 8, 2005
Julie Baker is pleased to announce the relocation of her gallery, Julie Baker Fine Art, to 307 Spring Street in Nevada City. The gallery will be opening the doors to the new space on September 9th with its inaugural show, "Life in Shadows", featuring new work by Nevada City resident Matt Duffin and California artist Dalton Jamieson.

Relocating her nationally recognized gallery to an intimate, smaller space, serves as a kick-off to a more active focus on building artists careers, networking at nationally recognized art fairs, providing fine art consultation to private and corporate clients, collaborating with interior designers and architects on commissions, curating at off site locations, and providing education courses for artists and collectors.

Additionally, moving to Nevada City enables the gallery to take advantage of the growing sophisticated, artistic atmosphere of Nevada City while uniting with the cultural aesthetic of Spring Street. Julie Baker Fine Art is pleased to be alongside neighbors the Miner's Foundry, Deer Creek Studios, Nevada City Winery, and Sushi in the Raw, in catering to Nevada County's finer tastes.

Julie Baker Fine Art will continue to bring new artists from across the country to the Foothills and provide fine art to the region and beyond.

Gallery hours are Thursday through Saturday, Noon - 6pm, Sunday Noon - 4pm, and by appointment. For further information, contact the gallery at 273-9ART or julie@juliebakerfineart.com
